Dr. Kwame Nkrumah once said the forces that unite Black Africans home and abroad are intrinsic and greater than the superimposed influences that keep us apart.

It is time now for a  renewed re-awakening of consciousness among Africans and other people of African descent. The bonds that unite us as Africans lay in our historical past, our heritage, our common culture the ubuntu, the experience we share, our ancestors’ glorious pre-colonial time, the post-colonial era suffering, the close links forged between Africans and peoples of African descent for nearly a century of common struggle be it in Africa and the diaspora must inspire and strengthen black people to forge a way forward toward a United Africa.
